EARTH DOME 

We were invited to build a playhouse for kids at a school in Sidi Bouzgea, Morocco.

Lisa Rooney and I spent over a month creating this earth dome. To begin having little knowledge other than an adobe workshop Lisa had taken by Joanna Lopez. We set about with her notes and some guidance from locals and a friend of the farm. Digging a large pit we mixed water with the earth and small amounts of hay. Out of our rough calculation we decided we needed a few more then 300 bricks for the dome.
